Jack Parow :: Cooler as Ekke!

We saw a post on between 10 and 5 about Jack Parow and some of his poster designs done for his new EP, Cooler as ekke (See Video Below), and if theres one thing we at Dont Party dig it’s music + rad design. Check the posters below. After seeing the posters we decided to start investigating Jack Parow a bit, we’d heard of him but never seen him much like the elusive Nessy.

We found him on Facebook and were amazed to see he has 7433 fans, not bad going. His music can be described as Afrikaans gangster rap, and his style is fresh out of Krugersdorp and we’re talking about the backend of Krugersdorp with a dash of Benoni and a sprinkle of Germiston. No sugar and spice and all things nice (See pic below)

We started listening to some tracks and found them getting stuck in our heads, its the sort of music you listen to once and think WTF is this oke serious but by the 5th repeat your bopping your head and singing along. Check this MP3 link at Cherry Flava

Yeah well that was interesting, quite a character. We’re definitely going to be keeping an eye on old Jack parow.
