Site of the Week Vol 1 :: Musicovery.com Interactive Web Radio

Musicovery is an awesome site that lets you stream music sort of like an online radio, you can choose your genre and let it play. It also features an awesome visual layout that visually displays upcoming tracks, the music selection is surprisingly comprehensive and features some big names.

Notable content we found under electronic were: Daft Punk, DJ Shadow, Prodigy, DJ Krush, Kruder and Dorfmeister, Roni Size, Fatboy Slim, The Chemical Brothers and a whole boatload more, not bad for a 100% Free web radio alternative that actually works in the old S of A.

We messed around with it for a while and found some great content. One downside is you need a premium account to skip forward through the playlist which would be great, but hey with the local radio options providing a far poorer selection of music, loads of ads, lame presenters and they dont even let you pause. We’ll stlll take Musicovery over most of them anyway, so if you’re looking for something to listen to in the office or at home and all you have is a laptop,pc or radio and you’re tired of hearing the same usual BS on SA radio try it out we think you’ll enjoy it.
