Erase Records Brings the Badness

Discovering Erase, for me, was like finding the biggest Easter egg known to man. It’s one of those things that you wanna scream about, but don’t want every Tom, Dick and Sally to have a piece of. Eventually remembering that I’m not even a DJ, I decided to share the love and let you have a taste of the scrumptious sounds of Erase records.

Erase is based in London and is run by Greek playboy, Wasabi. He must be a busy bastard, running one of Europe’s most up and coming labels, the Erase events, as well as finding time to DJ and produce his own material.

The label has been around a couple years, yet in the passed year or so, it’s no holds barred approach to electronic music has really picked up speed. In a time when defying genres is standard practice, Erase is one of the first to bring together a sound that is consistant and distinct, yet impossible to pinpoint. Their releases skip between jackin electro tech to fidget breaks to sultry clicky house and beyond. Erase arms itself with a largely unfamiliar, yet potent blend of next generation producers, some to jot down are Hi Population, Vincent Manganaro, Aquilaganja, Frederick Olufsen, Chad North and Aaron Pope.
