Now the man behind the long, crazy, head-banging black hair and his crew have let the world have something pretty special – TIMESTRETCH

Timestretch is the latest release from the Bassnectar labs and is nothing less then awesome! Dont Party was lucky enough to have the privilege of receiving the album as a sneak peek a few days before its showcase to the world, and in a few words or less: We have been BANGING it on repeat ever since!

According to Bassnectar labs TIMESTRETCH is

“a five-track roller coaster ride through the amusement park of amorphous bass music. Heavy and hard hitting, these songs were created to meltdown dancefloors and cross-pollinate genres.”

And Dont Party would have to agree, already having tried and tested a few of these tracks on the local South African nightlife scene with insane success, leading to some people collapsing from a pure adrenalin overload, I’d have to give it 3 thumbs up! With the main tracks produced by Amorphous prodigy Jantsen, Ninja Tune maestro DJ Vadim and another insane collaboration between Bassnectar and ill.gates the album provides enough melody and rolling bass to satisfy any kind of Pete Tong that causes synasthesiastically altered perception.
