Rosemarie Fiore :: Explosive Artwork

Rosemarie Fiore has been making quite an impact with her unique artworks. Her works may look ordinary at first glance, but when you hear how she makes them the works become that much more extraordinary.

The New York based artist has been creating artworks using ‘fireworks’ she explodes specific chemicals to create bursts of sturated colour, she uses different tools to isolate the bursts and create visual patterns and her artworks take shape

Its always interesting to see artists taking a new approaches to art, as it’s and industry where it is becoming increasingly difficult to create a ‘niche’ as many techniques and styles have been overused and have grown boring. At least we can safely say this among a select few styles of art we have not seen before

“Firework Drawings” These large works on paper are made by exploding and containing live fireworks, resulting in bursts of saturated color that are overlaped and collaged into abstract compositions.
