Sound of Stereo just released their new Flatland EP, featuring three tracks Flatlands, Hyper and Metric. The EP is being released on Dim Mak. Download the promo mixtape below and listen to the tracks plus loads of others.

ABOUT

Until some time ago “sound” and “stereo” were just two words that popped up every once in a while in your hifi-installation’s manual. in the beginning of 2008 those two words stopped being just random: “Sound of Stereo” saw the light of day. In only a few months time they conquered the hearts of music lovers all over the world. in november 2008, their first EP came out on Lektroluv Records and had massive response in Belgium and abroad.

The follow-up single ” heads up! ” was an instant succes because of it’s tracklisting by the likes of MSTRKRFT, Crookers, Armand van Helden, Bloody Beetroots and many more. in the meantime Sound of Stereo travelled abroad to dj at parties all over Europe. in Belgium they DJ’d at large events such as I Love Techno, Pukkelpop Festival, Dour Festival, 10 Days Off and so on. their latest “Zipper EP” was released on the 23d of November and was immediately supported by Tiga, Brodinski, Steve Aoki, Jack Beats, Djedjotronic, Riva Starr, MSTRKRFT and so on and so on. a full sound of stereo album is expected in the beginning of next year.

FLATLAND PROMO MIX :: DOWNLOAD

They released a promo mix a short while ago as a build up to the EP. It features alot of the tracks of the EP, but also a track by Schlachthofbronx ft. Spoek & Gnucci Banana – Ayoba. Quite nice to see a local act hitting it on the international scene.
