This dude James Powderly, who helped pioneer the Mars Exploration Rover, has left that program to focus on something a little more useful to us all: Laser Graffiti.

His and Evan Roth’s baby, Graffiti Research Labs, was established in 2006 to develop digital street art technologies. How can this geezer be so sick you ask? I don’t know, but personally this stuff is great and the potential that just myself can see in these technologies is insane.

… and all you need is to operate this is a PC, a webcam, and a projector.
