Corporate Logos :: The Hidden Message
So I got an email about brands and their logos and the secret, insinuated meaning in-between it all and thought… Hey! That’s pretty cool. So here they are:
Tostitos
So check it out, in the middle of the logo their are people sharing a tostito. Aaah, to convey the message of joy and sharing.
Baskin Robbins

So the old logo (below) used to have the number 31 on it. Here the designer just incorporated the logo into the branding (can ya see the 31?).
Toblerone

Toblerone is based in Bern, Switzerland. Bern is known as the City Of Bears. If you look at the logo can you see the bear?
Amazon

Amazon so subtly put a swoosh underneath their branding which not only symbolizes a smile that they hope every customer that deals with them walks away with, but also connects the “A” with the “Z“, symbolizing the dealings with everything under the sun, from A-to-Z.
Milwakee Brewers
The Milwakee Brewers, heard of them? Well if not, never fear, I haven’t either, but if you look at their logo the letters that comprise the acronym that represents the team make up the baseball mit (MB for those who aren’t English grad’s)
Fed Ex
Can you see the arrow? This symbolizes their rapid, on-the-go, moving image… amazing (or a little too simple?)
Sony Vaio
And last but not least, my personal favorite. This logo incorporates intelligence, creativity as well as representing what the brand symbolizes. If you look at the word VAIO you will notice that the “V” and “A” make up a normal analogue sine-wave, whilst the “I” and “O” represent the basics of binary code: the numbers 1 and 0….
Analogue meets Digital!
