When the iPad came out many of us where left thinking ‘EH‘? It’s a bigger, bulkier iPhone without the ability to call. But as things progress and Apple hits us with their latest updates and modifications to all their gizmos we can slowly see the use for this technology over it being ‘GREAT‘ for airplane boredom at only 10 grand a pop!

This Australian restaurant has introduced the iPad as a fully immersed interactive menu for their customers; with it you are even able to view your food.

This is actually pretty sick, and the use beyond the fine-dining frontiers are a lot more apparent now…

Although, that restaurant must trust its customers pretty damn well… I wouldn’t mind going in for a burger and leaving with a full belly and Apple’s latest technology!

    Lame!!!! And the iPad has loads of uses, and it’s R3500 not ten grand. Being used as a menu is a stupid attempt to get sites like this covering them. Lame!!!

    hey bla bla, thank you for very sheepishly leaving a legitimate contact.

    I dont know what iPad you’re buying for R3500, but it must not have come from a legitimate store.

    The Apple iPad MC349LL/A 16gb (Wi-fi + 3g)is R10, 000. so hmmm…

    on the ‘loads of uses’, maybe it does have loads of uses, but personally i can’t really see them over being an over-glorified, over-sized iphone… as of yet.

    Thank you for your opinion though.
