Japan :: Banana Vending

Breakfast, as we are told  numerous health and consumer magazines, is the most important meal of the day. Well over in Japan they are trying to re-hash this point by installing fruit vending machines!…. FRUIT!

This update to the vending market is an attempt to get younger people, who live by themselves, to eat a more healthy breakfast option…

BUT apparently it is taboo to eat in public so these new recruits to the health market must scurry away and eat their bananas behind closed doors!!!!

ANOTHER CRAZY JAPANESE VENDING MACHINE

It seems that people over in Japan have all kinds of vending machines up their sleeves. Here they present us with some eco-friendly vending machines, aimed at saving the environment!

This first one uses solar panels to reduce its carbon footprint.

This second one not only uses solar panels, but during winter it grows moss on its side!
