The Freedom Charter by Faith47…

South African street artists Faith47 has always been a favourite here at Dont Party and she’s been leaving her mark on the Cape Town streets for years. I was actually driving back from the airport on monday when I saw one of her older pieces on the left hand side of the N2 done by here and Wealz using the famous coke ribbon font/style. Look out for it next time you’re driving to the airport.

Then I got shown this video by Faith47 and her frequent collaborator Rowan Pybus of Makhulu Productions titled, ‘The Freedom Charter”. It’s an awesome visual feast and the soundtrack is an awesome dub-heavy soundtrack by Fletcher and Kendal Beadon.

The combination of the visuals, the artworks and the music is insane and this is definately one of my top shorts for the year so far. So big up to all involved!
