I think nearly everyone can remember either owning or having a friend own an old school Timex watch. They’ve been around for decades, yet they’ve never quite been the most innovative when it comes to design. They’ve always been that sort of black plastic look with a green glow when you push the light button, and that was pretty much it.

Well it would seem that’s no longer the case. Timex have launched an awesome new concept very similar to those already in place by brands like Puma, Nike and the like, where you can customise your product before buying it called, “My Timex 80“. I think its pretty awesome! and for only $55 that’s like R400.

My main problem with it is that they don’t let you customise the face further but I’ll survive.
