P.E. ACT “MUNNIBROTHERZ” SIGNED TO DIRTYBIRD

Claude VonStroke’s esteemed record label, DirtyBird, out of San Francisco just signed their first South African act. Local house heads Robin Muniz [aka Rob Deep] and Sean Munnick [DJ Sean] join the brand under their guise - Munnibrotherz. The duo come from Port Elizabeth, and have been under the radar of the local electronic music community, keeping locked up in studio creating superjackin’ beats for your eardrums.

DirtyBird has released many of the house music sphere’s top artists, such as Tim Green, Catz ‘n Dogz, Julio Bashmore, Style of Eye, Riva Starr, not to mention residents Claude VonStroke, J Phlip, The Martin Brothers and Worthy. Munnibrotherz apparently gave a demo with some of their tunes to fellow DirtyBird artist, Justin Martin while he was touring Europe. The EP got a lot of play from Martin as well as other DirtyBird artists during the tour, and quickly got them snatched up to release their first EP with the label. The Munnibrotherz EP has just been released, and includes a remix from Zombie Disco Squad. This is snappy, intelligent tech-house music. Big things coming!
