Evolution of Type [by Andreas Scheiger]

Evolution of Type is an investigation into the organic nature of typographic characters, by Austrian designer, Andreas Scheiger. The project began in 2 dimensional form, but soon evolved into real life art objects. Each character is created from powder-coated MDF, polymer clay, chicken bones, coral, thread, wire, acrylics and clear varnish. They are also available for purchase at the Andreas Scheiger Art Prints & Objects Store, but do cost an arm and a leg.
