Banksy at MOCA “Art in the Streets”
It’s no secret that I’m a massive Banksy fan and his latest installation recently opened at MOCA “the Museum of Contemporary Art” in Los Angeles, which is home to the first major exhibition of street art and graffiti in the U.S. ‘Art in the Streets.’ The exhibit traces the development of the art style from the 70s to the present day and features paintings and installations from 50 dynamic artists including Banksy. Check out some of his amazing works below.
Fact: Banksy’s 23-foot high Stained Window piece [Second Piece in the Post] is a collaboration with the City of Angels public school in Los Angeles. Students were encouraged to write tags on panels erected in their schoolyard before Banksy adapted them.
