Google Social Search Roll-out :: Who Needs Privacy?

Now the heads over at that wee little online mega-corp called Google have developed a new product that has Mark Zucks kicking and screaming in his nightie. It’s called Social Search, and although the product isn’t that new, the global roll-out plan for it is!

Social Search basically assimilates all your social media data that you have made available to them (ever click ‘find friends through google’? – BOOM you’re it) then sorts through it and pulls out relevant search results… basically a google search of your life!

What is making Zuckerberg cringe is, despite their ongoing online turf battle, Google Social Search can access Facebook data because you as the public has made it available to them… and their ain’t a thing he can do about it.
