Skrillex and his new “monster” live show!

Skrillex has pretty much taken the world by storm and is becoming a set piece on most festival lineups, capitalizing on his popularity, Sonny has revealed how he’s building a stage show to rival Deadmau5’s Rubik’s Cube. His plan is to go “all motion-capture” on his fans.

“I’m using motion-capture,” he revealed. “You know in movies when they use CG, they actually have people wearing infra-red sensors. So however I move I’m going to have giant 3D projections, like image-mapping. Monsters, skeletons and robots moving how I move. So that’s what’s in development right now, which should be very cool.”

We’ve never had the privilege of seeing him in South Africa but take a look at this ‘Skrillcam’ video from Creamfields in Sydney and get an idea of what may be in store for fans in future.
