Base jumpers :: Are Scardy Cats!

Okay, so, base jumpers are nuts… not a hard one to get to grips with, but holy-shit these guys are effing NUTS! I watched the video below a few days back and it blew my mind. It is basically an extremely great advert for the GoPro (we have one for .TV, but haven’t gotten to the stage of jumping off of buildings with it yet); advertising a product by featuring it’s use is a pretty damn powerful strategy: if the product is good, then the advert will translate that.

Meet Jeb Corliss and Roberta Mancino, a base jumping, sky diving partnership in life and love. They are crazy. They use a wing-suite. They almost crash into mountainns (in fact Jeb actually does crash in the video… into the ground!)

Next up (source: bangersandnash.com) we have these crazies that proceeded to jump on top of an elevator, ride it to the top floor, then jump off of it.

I couldn’t help but post these two vids, because these guys deserve some serious credit for what they do! I applaud you gents.
