The Grammy’s present :: The Regeneration Project

Take a couple of the biggest and baddest artists of the electronic generation and merge them with the world of acoustic instruments…this is the Regeneration Music Project.

The regeneration project gets some of the finest electronic producers in the world – namely Crystal Method, DJ Premier, Pretty Lights, three-time GRAMMY winner Mark Ronson, and Skrillex – to put a spin on the genres of classical music, jazz, rock and funk.

The DJs collaborated with some of music’s top artists, including GRAMMY winners Erykah Badu, the Funk Brothers, LeAnn Rimes, and Dr. Ralph Stanley, Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award recipients the Doors; the Berklee Contemporary Symphony Orchestra; and the Dap Kings, Joseph “Zigaboo” Modeliste, Nas, Martha Reeves, and Trombone Shorty to mix up the sounds of today, yesterday and tomorrow.
