Check out this series of redesigned logos by Swedish graphic designer Viktor Hertz. The series flips many of the worlds most recognizable logos in an attempt to reveal the true nature of the companies behind them. Some of them are pretty clever, some not so much.. Enjoy!

Kidrobot x Swatch

Swatch has teamed up with Kidrobot, to create Kidrobot for Swatch, a collection of eight watches, each accompanied by a complimentary Dunny. The range features some amazing artists such as Gary Baseman, Jeremyville, Frank Kozik, Joe Ledbetter, MAD, Tara McPherson, SSUR, and Tilt. The range looks amazing and will be released soon, whether it hits South African shores is another question entirely, let’s hope it does. Check it out below.

The Amazing World of 100

This may be slightly old and some of you may have seen it, if you have, well done! I stumbled across this today and thought it was pretty amazing, so I thought I’d post it for those of you as unaware of it as me. The World of 100 is a series of posters that visually represent various statistics about the world if it were a village of 100 people. Its pretty amazing when you see the statistics represented in such a simple manner.

The World of 100

If the world were a village of 100 people, how would the composition be? This set of 20 posters is built on statistics about the spread of population around the world under various classifications. The numbers are turned into graphics to give another sense a touch – Look, this is the world we are living in.

Banksy “Choose Your Weapon” Print

Being part of the exhibition Marks & Stencils in London at the moment, Banksy will be releasing the above piece tiltled “Choose Your Weapon” in the form of a print. The piece was first spotted on the streets of London [We posted about the original piece here] and will now be released as a limited edition print available through Pictures on Walls from December 2010.
Good luck getting hold of one though, the series will probably sell out in seconds and cost you an arm and a leg.

Daft Punk x TRON: LEGACY Poster

Here’s a quick post to close off the day, as you know we’re massive Daft Punk fans here at Dont Party. So we’re pretty amped for the remake of TRON: LEGACY. Daft Punk the musical masterminds and creators of the soundtrack will also be appearing in the following glow-in-the-dark poster that will accompany the movie’s promotions. The film is slated for a December 17th release in the United States and will be hitting South African shores on New Years Day.
I’m definitely getting one of these posters though!
