It looks like Apple will be announcing their new iOs 5 update and possibly the iPhone 5 on October 4th, 2011. The invitations for the upcoming event have just gone out with the tagline ‘Let’s Talk iPhone’. I’ll be following this religiously and we’ll certainly keep you in the loop!

Ray-Ban recently launched an amazing competition that we just got wind of and it’s got us quite excited! There’s not much time left but we’ve seen designers whip out some amazing work in shorter and we know you’ve got what it takes to get this done! Details after the jump!

Hours after Jobs announced his resignation, Tim Cook, 50, was announced as the new CEO of Apple Inc. Cook isn’t new to the position as he spent a short spell running Apple back in 2004 and 2009 during Steve Jobs’ absence due to medical reasons.

Swatch has teamed up with Kidrobot, to create Kidrobot for Swatch, a collection of eight watches, each accompanied by a complimentary Dunny. The range features some amazing artists such as Gary Baseman, Jeremyville, Frank Kozik, Joe Ledbetter, MAD, Tara McPherson, SSUR, and Tilt. Check it out after the jump!

Check out the awesomeness that is New York based designer/artist Steve Nishimoto’s Skater Toy Soldiers! It’s not know yet whether he plans to put them on sale, let’s hope he does!

South African designer Kronk, who has been featured on the pages of Dont Party numerous times has unveiled an awesome new Dunny design for Kidrobot. This time around it’s a limited edition 20-inch Killjoy Dunny that will be hitting stores on June 30th with a price tag of $400.

Mercedes recently commissioned supermodel Jessica Stam to star in this all-new, international campaign. The campaign’s visuals were shot by photographer Terry Richardson. Check it after the jump!

Another watch has made it’s way onto the “I want” list, the latest is the “Mr. Marc” watch by Marc Jacobs. The watch features one half of the the brands resident illustrated couple, “Mr. Marc” and has an all-black body with tone-on-tone lettering around the dial and a white face. Check it after the jump!

Greg Hervieux, the founder of BKRW and BLACKRAINBOW is synonymous with designing original skate decks that are good for pretty much anything but skating. He previously teamed up with Domeau & Pérès to design an awesome leather covered skate deck and now he’s gone and one-upped himself and done it in gold. Check it after the jump!
