Deadbeat FM is a new experimental tech outfit, spawned from the the unholy union of the Cape Town trance scene and the Joburg breaks movement. With 14 years combined DJ experience between them, the Deadbeat FM DJ/Producer duo is dedicated to bringing a filthy new sound to the South African tech scene.
Deadbeat FM was born when Shane (Deliriant) left the fairest Cape to look for new inspiration on the gritty steets of Jozi and had a chance encounter, on a dark and gritty street corner, with Piers (Johnny Rook) who was shamelessly trying to fund his dirty DJ addiction.
Like a hobo with a papsak it was the perfect union. These two reprobates can now be found plying their trade in the grimiest clubs across the city and soon enough the country.
