Deadbeat FM Take 3rd Place in D-nox & Beckers Remix Competition
Our homeboys Deadbeat FM have pulled another one out the bag! They snapped up 3rd place in the Beatport competition to remix the D-nox & Beckers track ‘Call Me’. This is a massive achievement, as their remix battled it out against hundreds of entries from around the world and from some very prominent producers. Their victory means that their track will be signed to Baroque records [UK] and they also win a DJ bag from Baroque.
If you are not familiar with D-nox & Beckers, the German duo are without a doubt one of the most distinguished progressive house & techno dj/producer combinations of our time. They have countless tracks on labels such as Global Underground, Toolroom, Ministry of Sound, Electribe, Iboga, Lo Kik, and their own Sprout and Plastik Park, as well as doing remixes and collabos with the likes of Lutzenkirchen, Nick Muir, Fergie, Tocadisco and Velkro.
The remixes were judged personally by D-nox & Beckers along with the people at Baroque, and in the end they didn’t select the winners by the amount of public votes or “spins”, but actually listened to every track individually and picked out the winners. Have a listen to the Deadbeat FM remix below and feel free to head over to the Beatportal contest page to listen to the other winners.
Much respect to the boys for bringing this one home (their second international remix competition victory!).
