Boys Noise Records Launches ‘BNR Trax’ Sub Label

One of our bestest labels of the past few years, BNR, or Boys Noize Records, has announced they will be launching a new sub label Boys Noize Trax on October 4th. BNR has released high calibre artists such as Boys Noize [surprise surprise], Les Petits Pilous, Housemeister, Djedjotronic, Strip Steve, Shadow Dancer, Erol Alkan, DIM and Siriusmo over the past few years, bringing many of them to stardom.

The new imprint will  cater to a “straight techno, house and experimental” listenership, according to Alexander Ridha (Boys Noize). They have decided to go strictly digital with this new offering due to the fast paced nature of the electronic music industry today. Boys Noize claims that as a DJ trying to keep ahead of every second dude being a DJ, you need to have fresh tracks every week, and Boys Noize Trax will be releasing far more material on a more free flowing basis, opposed to BNR’s classic label structure and workings.

The first release on the new label will be Electric Rescue from Paris who bashes out some no serious techno numbers. The release is entitled “The Ambivalent EP”. This will be followed by further side projects from Shadow Dancer and Para One, both familiar names to the BNR label.

We are certainly at the edge of our seats, because if this new outlet is anything like BNR, we are gonna lose our shit on the dancefloor.

Check out an interview with Boys Noize regarding the new project here.

In the meantime here’s a little past listening from the upcoming artists. Ps. Note the Dexter bootleg in the Electric Rescue track – Eeek!
