Adidas collaborates with US fashion designer Jeremy Scott and this is what came from it…

Check out this beautifully shot video featuring members of the Olympic Team GB (Great Britain) for adidas by Stella McCartney. The video shows some of the new items in the adidas by Stella McCartney collection, which is being worn in different situations by the athletes. The shots are pretty amazing, check it out!

3D Projection mapping is where it is at! Now we have done a post or two on projection mapping that has blown us away, but this latest feat from Adidas that has been doing its rounds on the net is by no means small!

Take the massive Palais du Pharo building in Marseilles, France add Adidas’ latest campaign shake and stir and what you are left with is something unbelievable…. Just look at the people in the audiences faces!

So all the confusion is finally over and it’s been confirmed that the track featured in the Adidas spot above is in fact the new single by Justice. The video which is the latest of many recently released by Adidas features two minutes of the group’s new single “Civilization”. We had suspected this would be the case after seeing the same 20 seconds of the track used in both the Adidas promo and the Ed Banger Justice promo for the new album, I guess we called it right!

There has been quite a bit of Justice related craziness all over the net this weekend with a whole bunch of rumours and misinformation flying around. We’ve even played a small role in the spread of some of it thanks to The Man in Japan’s latest post on the topic for which he took a slight lambasting by Douchelles Baggels aka Douche and no I didn’t make that name up but I think we may just have lost a fan.

So I decided to investigate what was going on and after minutes of hard work, I still have pretty much no idea. Anyway here are some of the facts and weirdness currently leaving us slightly confused.

The facts

The following image is the new album cover, its also almost given that the new E.P is titled Civilization as shown by the new page on the Justice fanpage on Facebook. The image was produced by the Parisian creative agency and brand Surface to Air.

Justice Civiliazation Alledged Teaser Video

Now the main confusion is being caused by the two teaser videos. The one we posted originally is definitely a fake [In my opinion], something I realised the second the Phill Collins sample came in and some relatively poor production made that evident quite quickly [Sorry TMIJ ]. Now while I was trying to update the original post by TMIJ I stumbled accross what looked like a slightly more official teaser video, shown above. This video is branded by Ed Banger Records, but it’s also quite easy for anyone to produce [We could do it] and it’s also on a random Youtube account named JusticeCivilization which has one video upload and thats this video.

Adidas Teaser Video

Things get even weirder when you look at the new Adidas campaign teaser shown below. Okay now stick with me while I explain this, if you listen to the above “Justice” teaser and then listen to the Adidas teaser shown below, you’ll notice the sound track is identical, we’ve checked a few times and its pretty much identical from start to finish. It gets even weirder when you watch the additional 5 second Adidas commercials and Busy P owner of Ed Banger Records [Justice are signed to Ed Banger Records] makes an appearance in two as well as the one shown below. So who knows at this point, is the video shown above a fake sampling the sound from the Adidas commercial or is there a deeper alliance between Justice and Adidas coming up that we’ve not yet been informed about.

I guess we’re going to have to wait and see what happens, but all I can say is I’m excited as f*ck about a new Justice album. Let’s just hope someone *Cough Big Concerts* gets off their ass and brings them here…

It’s that time of year again, when all the big brands are getting behind the money making extravaganza that christmas has become, every mall is now packed with shiny balls, christmas tree’s and old men dressed as Santa. It’s refreshing to see something like this, adidas have created this awesome DIY christmas ornament. I’ve always loved adidas originals even though they don’t show us much love here at Dont Party. The German super brand recently joined forces with fellow German brand Sennheiser and released two sets of headphones, and all I can say is I want to be between these [Sexual innuendo intended once again]. The range is pretty basic and fans can choose from the two sets either inner ear buds or cans which is actually all you really need.

Each pair has the ever recognizable blue and white of adidas and branding from both brands. The HD 220 offer a bass-driven, stereo sound and are built for comfort, whilst the 310 earphones offer a dynamic clear sound across both high and low ends.

They most likely wont make their way to SA but you can buy them at the adidas online store now! [Although if you're in ZA its going to take you to the ZA Store and you wont find them so force your way to the US/UK store]

An alleyway. Icy rain. It’s 11pm. Still early. I’m waiting for a friend to arrive. He’s at the back of the 60 man queue. And Sibot has just started to play. Most people have scored free shiny tickets for this one. And they are desperate like zombies to get in.

There’s a whole bunch of people lined up to play. But the only one’s I care about are Sibot and DMC World Champ DJ Craze.

The rain has only energised the kids, who are submerging themselves in the heavy beats bouncing off the towers and buildings jutting out around the alleyway.

And Sibot has just broken into one of his gym mixes. I abandon the friend, wrap my hoody round me tight, and head back inside to face the music.

And here’s what happened…

I was wondering what was going on with Adidas, Nike has been dropping killer ads since the world cup with amazing regularity. You’ve probably seen them all on the pages of Dont Party. Adidas on the other hand not so much, they’ve been pretty quiet. Not surprising that a recent survey had respondents citing Nike as an official sponsor of the World Cup. [Read this for more ], they just fell behind and I was hoping for a comeback.

The last ad I posted by Adidas was the Star Wars Canteen commercial which was awesome but that was in June. Well hopefully this is the start of things to come. Adidas Basketball has released a new commercial today, entitled “Fast Don’t Lie”. The commercial features Dwight Howard and Slim Chin.
