Girls, LEGGINGS ARE NOT PANTS. Lets just start there so we all understand each other. I’m not entirely sure when people decided to start wearing them in this really bad style but I am confused. Leggings are to be worn when layering, with a long shirt or jersey, or under things, NOT AS PANTS.

You know I have a little thing about ghetto nails right? Last time they pretty much messed up my nails for months but anyway they looked good at the time. After the mess they left I never wanted them again…UNTIL I SAW THESE!! I’m heading off to the USA for a little holiday in the next couple weeks and I’m feeling like the gift NYC holds for me is these.

Nothing to say except this. Please can someone find this shoe in my size. On Saturday I almost purchased it in a size too small just because I wanted it so badly. That is highly unreasonable behaviour, of this I am aware.

Anyway instead of pictures today I want you to watch this music video. I’m TOTALLY into Ms Dynamite’s musical styles but my question here is fashion related. I know this style was super hot like 2 years ago but I’m really not sure if I’m still feeling this? Meanwhile the song is amazzzzing.

So it’s been a while since we’ve talked shoes but today I want to share with you one of my most favourite sneakers of all time. It’s right up there with a Nike Air Max but a totally different style. Adidas Forums. Oh man the beauty of this style. If you’re a hightop or a mid wearer you’ll know this shoe is a win every time.

Those of you in Joburg with be super familiar with the face and sounds of Okmalumkoolkat and Dirty Paraffin (if you aren’t check em out here). Anyway I say Joburg because Capetonians are only just getting onto this particular talent. Separate to the Dirty Paraffin sounds Okmalumkoolkat is shooting his first ever video for Boomslang, a track that he’s done with London based beat gang LV.

Todays fetish is not just for the ladies to drool over but for boys to take advice from. I’m not going to get into the whole explaination because the pictures speak for themselves. I hope this inspires you to dress properly this weekend.

Sometimes the internet really has this way of bringing joy to a clouded day. Y’all know how I feel about shoes, sneakers and generally good looking things so you know then that I am going to be highly emotional about what’s happening here. I have shown Bottega and Lanvin sneakers in the past but now I give to you CHRISTAN LOUBOUTIN SNEAKERS.

Anyway today I was having a browse at the Vanity Fair best dressed people list. This is obviously something that fashionistas hold their breath for, whose style is being recognised and loved. I’m starting to realise that once you’re famous you can wear anything you like. Prime example is the artistic director of Lanvin, Alber Elbaz.

I’m talking about hats today, I have a secret love for them and I keep buying them but everytime I put them on I think I just looked better without it. Anyway point is I tend to collect hats I don’t really wear, but you should! So check out an epic selection here.
