It looks like Apple will be announcing their new iOs 5 update and possibly the iPhone 5 on October 4th, 2011. The invitations for the upcoming event have just gone out with the tagline ‘Let’s Talk iPhone’. I’ll be following this religiously and we’ll certainly keep you in the loop!

Check out this series of redesigned logos by Swedish graphic designer Viktor Hertz. The series flips many of the worlds most recognizable logos in an attempt to reveal the true nature of the companies behind them. Some of them are pretty clever, some not so much.. Enjoy!

Hours after Jobs announced his resignation, Tim Cook, 50, was announced as the new CEO of Apple Inc. Cook isn’t new to the position as he spent a short spell running Apple back in 2004 and 2009 during Steve Jobs’ absence due to medical reasons.

Late last night Apple announced numerous new features including a new set of breakthrough cloud services that will work seamlessly with applications on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac or PC. These services will automatically and wirelessly store your content on iCloud. More after the jump!

The second iteration of the world most loved tablet has been unveiled to much fanfare and adoration of Apple fanboys the world over.
