So the sun is out and most of you are probably already on your way out to Synergy for some mad weekend vibes. Me? I’ma spend the weekend tryna catch a tan so I don’t spend the whole summer looking like a lonely white girl under an umbrella.

Speaking of summer here is the beginning of my summer preparation. For some reason when the sun shines it makes me want to drink champagne, hence my first little fetish of the day, and since yesterday was payday maybe a little Veuve is in order?? I won’t look as stylish as these two ladies in the picture but I can’t help that.

Second fetish goes out to the Contego eyewear. WHAT? Yeah they’re amazing I know, can’t decide which I’d choose first but as it stands it’d be the red cateye.

Last but not least I would give my left lung for one of these little Gucci zoo animals for my handbag. No seriously. Imagine cruising around the beachside with one of these little numbers. Toooo cooool.

Summer is upon us!

So this is something I came across the other day sort of by accident. A friend of mine got these as a birthday present and I happened to bump into him amidst the unwrapping. I can safely say this is one of the dopest gifts I’ve seen in looooooong, those of y’all that collect vinyl toys will dig this, and those of you that are hardened gangsters will to Check more of em out here.

Yeah yeah kids it’s that time again and that means I’m going to share with you my 3 most favourite items of the week. Lets talk about this skull ring first. We all know I have a little skull fetish and then you go and show me THIS?! woah. It’s amaaaazing, and now imagine it filled with a diamond or an emerald. Yeah I said it. Anyway I think the Nike black on black Air Royalty needs no real explaination, we all know I can’t say no to that style and no one on the planet earth should ever say no to a black on black sneaker. Last but not least one of the coolest neck pieces  I have ever seen. Imagine a simple white shirt with this and a pair of jeans. Imagine. It’s too beautiful for words. oooooweeee.

So I’m totally back on my ghetto nails trip (obviously some things never change) and since my last debacle I have become known for this nail fetish. SO what does that mean really? People talk to me about nails a lot and that’s a vibe because I get insider knowledge on all kinds of fancy nail art and where to get it done and all that.

What’s the moral of the story today though? My friend came back from Hong Kong and bought me the dopest little stick-ons and then tells me about the coolest shit in the world ever. What they don’t tell you about the fakies is that they totally fuck your nails up (one of mine still has a dent in it) anyway there’s a freaking revolution in nails and here it is. MINX.

I know there are females reading this just thinking about how stupid I am because I just heard about this but that’s cool. Basically these are stickers that the manicurist puts straight on the nail (as far as I understand) which means no permanent nail fuckery. HOERRAY.

So word on the street is that there is a lady in Cape Town doing these nails. I NEED TO GET ME SOME.

It’s my birthday next week so think I’ma make it a mission (birthday present to myself).

I know that RTD for us is going to be all summer vibes and that but I still imagine like a rainy glasto-style mud fest. I know it won’t be that but just bare with me, and since the rest of the world is going into winter all the dope stuff is looking that way.

My inspiration and joy for the day comes from country fishing trips, the transformable dog/wolves in twilight, totem polls, old british men with shotguns, badmington etc etc, you know what I mean. I’m fully aware by the way that native american indians and british people are not the same but in my head the aesthetic match works.

Just enjoy the pretty country vibes and incase you’re unsure they are my all time favourite Air Royalty and the other is a laptop case that lives in my dreams.

Alrighty, I’m not sure if we’ve had the watch conversation before? Those of y’all that know me will also know I have a crazy watch fetish. I went to NYC with the express intention of buying a TIMEX (they mad cheap there). I saw it, I even tried it on, and then I got distracted!! I ended up rather getting this dope little skull & cross bones Swatch. Swatch I mean come on I haven’t had one since I was 13, right before I switched to my purple G-Shock.

Anyway, in honour of NOT buying the Timex I so badly wanted it’s my Fetish Friday.

You know I have a little thing about ghetto nails right? Last time they pretty much messed up my nails for months but anyway they looked good at the time. After the mess they left I never wanted them again…UNTIL I SAW THESE!!

I’m heading off to the USA for a little holiday in the next couple weeks and I’m feeling like the gift NYC holds for me is these.

I can safely assume we are all nursing some kind of a hangover this fine Friday. My opinion is get over it and go have a boozy lunch outside somewhere. It’s such a beautiful day, this is a good sign for the weekend.

So it’s been a while since we’ve talked shoes but today I want to share with you one of my most favourite sneakers of all time. It’s right up there with a Nike Air Max but a totally different style. Adidas Forums. Oh man the beauty of this style. If you’re a hightop or a mid wearer you’ll know this shoe is a win every time.

We are on the verge of the long weekend. It’s all just too much excitement, doubt today is going to be productive for any business.

HAPPY FRIDAY

Yes it’s that time again, I’m not sure how it came so quickly but I’m glad it did. I know that most of this week has been fetish related and today we’re there again. It’s just not my fault that I like so many nice things, actually last night I had the wierdest dream. I dreamt that I almost got shot cause I was shopping and refused to leave with the rest of the crowd in the store (this is a real dream). Perhaps I need to address my issues? Like today I can’t concerntrate today cause I’m just thinking about these sneakers I want to get from Shelflife store.

Anyway todays fetish is dedicated to a brand I’ve just come across. Y’all know I love me some Feiyue sneakers and this is it’s sister brand – SEVEN DICE. They don’t plan to launch in SA for a while but I’m hoping that we can try and convince them a little from here.
