In this past December a few of use were interviewed about fashion and one question was what we think the trends for the next season were. Given my affinity for sneakers I was chatting about them moving into high fashion and not being a strictly ‘street’ style.

A good t-shirt never goes amiss in a wardrobe, you can pair it with jeans and a cardi or with a blazer even. It’s like the most perfect item, and a good one can last for years. So here are 2 shirts I am MAJORLY lusting over at the moment.

In honour of phuza Thursday and the massive headache I have Fetish Friday is dedicated to hangover cures.

I was trying to decide what to fetish about today but then I realised it was totally fuckn obvious, I have a really unhealthy obsession with a couple of symbols (bows, anchors, skulls) and EYEBALLS. It’s a bit bizarre I guess but can’t help it.

There is just nothing else worth talking about today other than the World Cup!! Anyone not excited about this needs to move to another country. Just my opinion. Also anyone who thinks that they’re too cool to wear South African colours should also leave. Today is not about you. So today is dedicated to good style during the World Cup.

I am contiunously impressed with Vans. This is not a brand I paid much mind to before but suddenly they’re on everyones lips and feet. I know the skaters get all upset that people steal their brands but sorry kids, if you don’t want people wearing your gear stop making it look so nice

Today I’m featuring the brand Alife, I really don’t think this brand gets enough mileage in ye old country of ours. The items are flippn incredible and are actually available at Shelflife store in Cape Town so what I post is not unattainable.

Today I want to mention a jewellry design team that I’ve been following for a while now, Alex and Chloe. There work is just incredible. Somehow they manage to take modern style, mixed with antique and then flip it with an elegant twist. Beautiful.

So I’ve gone through sneakers and gold jewelry and I have only left one of my obsession stones unturned. Glasses.

I’m pretty gangster at the best of times but today I drove to work and “Freak like me” was playing on the radio, I was all hands in the air styles. Anyway it inspired me to up my gangster for the day so I thought I’d show you a couple of fetishes I’ve got at the moment.
